Tea 397: Tension Ocular Glaucoma Natural Remedy Glaucom
Natural Remedy Glaucoma Eye Disease Eye Pressure. A natural herbal solution to cure glaucoma and eye strain. Here you have a good Natural Glaucoma Remedy to cure glaucoma naturally with or without eye strain. Indeed glaucoma is an eye condition that is characterized by an increase in eye pressure beyond bearable. This too-high pressure results in the destruction of the fibers responsible for transmitting light information from the retina to the brain. In addition, glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness in the USA. There are two types: chronic open-angle glaucoma rare before the age of 50, and acute closed-angle glaucoma rare before the age of 70. This eye condition is often hereditary

What is Glaucoma? Glaucoma Natural Remedy
Glaucoma is most often an abnormal increase in the pressure of fluids within the eye. This increase causes the nerve fibers that carry information from the retina to the brain to degenerate. glaucoma can blind the affected eye if prompt action is taken to reduce eye pressure. Glaucomas are most often a problem with the emptying of the aqueous humor, one of the fluids in the eye. Internal pressure increases suddenly and intensely with acute glaucoma, and very gradually with chronic glaucoma. The Natural Glaucoma Treatment we offer reduces eye tension
Types of Glaucoma: Chronic and Acute Glaucoma
Chronic or Open-Angle Glaucoma
Chronic glaucoma is the most common. It affects both eyes, often unevenly. One eye is less affected than the other and compensates for the loss of vision. It accounts for 80% to 90% of cases. This type of glaucoma is very progressive and asymptomatic. It may remain symptom-free for 10 to 20 years or longer. During this time, only a thorough eye examination can detect it. Rarely, people may have dull pain (such as pressure in the eyes). Also, they may feel watery and have headaches. Visual symptoms take a long time to appear. The disease progresses slowly and steadily. The patient has vision loss at the periphery of the visual field. However, central vision (which enables people to read, write, and recognize faces) remains normal for a long time. This is called tubular vision (as if through a tube)
Acute Glaucoma or Angle-Closure Glaucoma
Acute glaucoma is a rare form of glaucoma. He suddenly and brutally touches only one of the eyes. People have severe pain in the eye and feel a colored halo around the light sources with sharply decreased vision. The painful eye is red and hard. This is a medical emergency and you need to lose your sight very quickly. This is because, without glaucoma treatment, vision in the affected eye may be permanently lost within hours because of the sudden, intense increase in pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure). Symptoms often appear when ambient light is dim (evening, show, etc.), and when pupils are dilated (which may also be the effect of drug therapy). Older people and those who are hypertrophic are at greater risk of acute glaucoma.
Causes of Glaucoma Natural Treatment Glaucoma
The causes of glaucomas are many, and some are still unclear. In all cases of acute glaucoma and two-thirds of cases of chronic glaucoma, the intraocular pressure is abnormally high. To understand how the pressure increases, people should look at the aqueous humor inside the eye and how it changes.
Eye Pressure Aqueous Humor Evacuation Defect
Ocular hypertension glaucoma is caused by a problem with the drainage of the fluid from the eye that feeds the lens and the cornea. This fluid, called aqueous humor, normally flows through a filter called a trabecular meshwork.
In most cases of glaucoma, a genetically altered trabecular meshwork obstructs the outflow of aqueous humor. This is called open-angle glaucoma. This is the most common form of chronic glaucoma, which develops slowly. The filter traps fluid in the eye, and pressure builds up and spreads throughout the eye. It affects the optic nerve, gradually destroying the nerve cells that make it up
What are the Complications of Glaucoma? Natural Treatment Glaucoma
Whatever its cause, glaucoma always progresses to degeneration of the nerve fibers that connect the cells of the retina to the brain, because of the high pressure in the eye. Damage to nerve fibers cannot be repaired under current medical practice
Compartments of the Eye
In the eye, there are two distinct chambers: the anterior and posterior segments.
The anterior segment is behind the cornea and includes the iris (the colored part of the eye) and the lens (the eye’s natural lens attached to the eyeball by ligaments, which separate the two chambers). It is filled with a clear liquid, the aqueous humor, which is produced by an organ called the ‘ciliary body’, located behind the iris, at the base of the ligaments of the lens. The back of the eye contains a kind of clear gel called the vitreous humor.
In glaucoma, the problem is in the anterior segment, where the pressure increases. The increased pressure is then transmitted indirectly to the posterior segment, and thus to the optic nerve.
Glaucoma is a Draining Problem
The aqueous humor is constantly renewed: it is produced by the ciliary bodies and discharges through a kind of filter called the trabecular meshwork, which is located at the angle at that the iris forms with the cornea. The aqueous humor is then directed to the venous system. In glaucoma with increased intraocular pressure, the aqueous humor has difficulty being eliminated. This problem of emptying increases the pressure in the anterior segment suddenly and dramatically in acute glaucoma, very gradually and less if glaucoma is chronic.
The increased pressure in the eye interferes with the functioning of the optic nerve and causes nerve fibers to degenerate. This destruction occurs very quickly when the pressure is very high (as in acute glaucoma), so medical treatment is urgently needed. In chronic glaucoma, IOP remains moderately elevated but, over time, this moderate increase causes loss of nerve fibers.
